Shading Practice
To shade means to add light and dark values (colors) to a shape to make the shape appear 3D. Usually we see shading in pencil drawings. Take a look at the video to learn how to shade and then look at the different types of shading that are possible. Practice shading by turning a circle into a sphere. What other shapes can you create by shading?
